Thoughts?
A) Commercials:
- A little pricy but a nice product.
- Good online store and easy payment.
- Good initial confirmation but then went quiet for 10 days and I had to chase. Updates on progress would have been nice but the products arrived quickly and very well packaged after my second email.
2) Product Design:
- Good quality printing and materials.
- Fitted together nicely and all the parts for the case (screws, buttons and button cover) were included.
- There are no instructions. It took several attempts to work out what when where. A few tips:
A) The GPS antenna is stuck on - peel it off and you stuff it into a cut out in the ‘middle frame’.
B) undo the screw on the Supreme board (antenna end) to ‘release’ the antenna (turn off the device so as not to knacker the radio) and insert into the middle frame antenna hole (putting the washers and bolts on properly).
C) tighten the two front screws and remover totally the two USB C / SD card clot end board screws.
D) put the buttons in to the holes (try not to let the drop out or you will lose them (as I did). Please supply some spares…
E) insert the board into the middle chassis frame and screw in with the long thins supplied screws.
F) put top the bottom (battery) covers and do up the 6 bolts.
Suggestions:
- Supply or fix the buttons - they drop out easily.
- Make it possible to insert a SD card (if using the case for non-Mestastic applications).
- Add a clear perspective screen to protect and seal the box.
- I used different 5dB gain antennas which work well.
- Give me a discount on the next order :)
Well thought out and priduced for the purpose.
Lovely case, but it was a bit of a puzzle to figure out how to fit everything inside, which screws to remove from the lilygo extreme, but I got there in the end.
Overall very beautiful and well made case but I am forced to carry it for the moment in a bag because the buttons are too thin and do not hold. I am the host of a YouTube channel and I will soon be producing a tutorial dedicated to the Meshstatic network. We will be able to see your box but I don't know if I will talk about it for the reason mentioned above. In addition, important shipping costs: 16 euros. I have paid a customs tax of 16 euros. Ordered 4 cases, for the T-Beam Supreme.
Great customer service, I asked for the details such as button sizes and windows and button covers. All came nicely packaged and protected with all the hardware.
Items fitted very well. (opted to use the slightly looser button in the end). this is a personal preference thing.
Very Happy and would recommend. I will be buying from this store again.
